DELTA  SIGMA  PI

The Delta Sigma Pi club

By-laws:

1. This club will meet at the times designated by the school administration.

2. For membership, it is required that a student had a final grade A or B in his /her eighth grade math class.

3. A member must maintain an A or B in his/her math class at DSFHS

4. A member must earn 30 service points per year to remain in the club and be eligible for fun days and field trips.

The sponsors as well as the school's administration will deter mine projects for which students may earn service points.

5. If a student is dropped from membership, it should be for any of  the following reasons:

• Absence without justifiable reason from two regular meetings
• Failure to earn 15 service points during the first semester and a total of 30 for the year.
• Failure to meet academic requirements.  However, no member will be dropped without being given a probationary period of one interim grading period in which to improve the grade.  Grades will be checked at the 9-week interim and at the end of the first semester.
• For moral, ethical, or disciplinary reasons at the discretion of the sponsors and administration. (School suspension will result in automatic dismissal).

6. The dues for this club will be $5.00. This fee will be used to purchase prizes for club members, as well as for students participating in club sponsored events. Members will be required to pay their own expenses for fun days and field trips.
